Skiing fun in Tyrol by night
Berwang isn’t only the winter sport resort of the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena with the highest altitude and therefore lots of snow. It is also home to one of the two slopes for night skiing in Tyrol’s family-friendly ski region. Floodlights are turned on along the Egghof Sun Jet slope every Thursday (December 26th 2024 until March 13th 2025) from 5.30-8.45 pm. Conquer the approx. 122 altitude metres to the valley station with the Egghof Sun Jet, a modern six-seat chairlift. Night toboganning is also possible on Thursday evening. The ski-rental shops, restaurants and après-ski bars are opened.
Rides with the cable car are included in the Top Snow Card, the Tirol Regio Card, the Top Snow Card, and the Berwang Card (except for the day pass), but not in the Tirol Snow Card. However, there are graded affordable night skiing rates for children, teens and adults for ski entertainment under starry skies. Experience the fascination of night skiing in Tyrol’s mountains yourself! See the numerous lights in Berwang and the roads running thorough the snowy scenery like illuminated strings from the mountain station. A night-time ride is particularly magical during a full moon and clear sky – try it out!
