Gastronomy tips for Berwang-Bichlbach
Tyrolean cuisine has many a delicacy in store and the regionally produced food is exceptionally delicious. Kögelehütte
The hut is also open daily in winter and can be reached on skis with the Rastkopf panoramic cable car, making it a worthwhile hiking destination in summer, which can be reached from Berwang within an hour's walk.
The Kögelehütte is located on a beautiful plateau and there are two different options for the way back.

Das View - the Pop-Up (formerly Jägerhaus)
Both in summer and winter, the hut can be easily reached on foot via the cleared hiking trail, but also by bike, pushchair and toboggan. The mountain lifts offer another ascent option and as the restaurant is located directly on the piste, it also invites all winter sports enthusiasts to take a break and recharge their batteries.

Hochalm
Sonnalm- & Almkopfbahn mountain station
Open in both the summer and winter seasons
Rustic self-service hut, easily accessible with the Almkopfbahn (Bichlbach) and Sonnalmbahn (Berwang), alpine specialities such as yeast and bacon dumplings, Kaiserschmarrn, Brettljausen.

Rimmlstube
Visit the Rimmlstube on the sunny Panoramabahn Rastkopf ski run to the Rinnen ski lift valley station or via the romantic Berwang - Rinnen footpath. Enjoy the sun on the large sun terrace or warm up in the cosy farmhouse parlour with tiled stove, serving home-made and regional dishes - lamb from our own farm and game from our own hunt!
