The hut is daily open in winter and can be reached on skis via the Panoramabahn Rastkopf cable car.

The alpine hut is a worthwhile hiking destination that can be reached from Berwang in a one-hour walk. The Kögelehütte is located on a strikingly beautiful plateau with two different options available for the way back.

Both in summer and in winter, the hut can be easily reached by foot via the cleared hiking trail, but also by bike, pram and toboggan. The mountain railways are another option for ascent and since the restaurant is located directly on the slope, it also invites all winter sports enthusiasts to take a break and recharge their batteries.

You can reach the Bichlbacher Alm from Bichlbach or Lähn or via the Tuftlalm from Lermoos.

On the Bichlbacher Alm you can enjoy real alpine delicacies such as bacon dumplings, house sausage or bacon.

There is a trampoline for the children.

Overnight accommodation for 6 people, by reservation only.

The hut is closed during the wintertime.

With regional and homemade dishes you can recover from your hike or mountain trip and recharge your battery for the further climb or descent. A highlight is our sunny terrace, where our visitors can enjoy the fresh mountain air, tranquility and the magnificent view of the surrounding mountain peaks and the village of Rinnen, far from noise and traffic.

And if you don't want to go home with so many eventful impressions, just stay overnight with us - with sleeping accommodation for up to 24 people, you can choose between 2 four, 1 six and 1 ten person rooms. And enjoy an extensive breakfast the next morning! Sleeping accommodation for max. 24 persons.

The hut can be reached from Berwang in approx. 3 hours and from Rinnen in approx. 2 hours.

In winter, the Ehenbichler Alm is easily reached by touring ski and snowshoeing, about a 2-hour walk from Rinnen / Rauth.

Traditional cuisine and products from our own farm in a cozy atmosphere!

Our alpine pasture and the Sennerstüberl are worth a hike in both good and bad weather. Fallerschein is also the ideal starting point for extensive mountain tours.

We prepare our specialties on a traditional wood stove. The ingredients for our dishes come mainly from our own farm. This ensures quality which invites you to enjoy.

Walking time from Namlos / Fallerschein junction approx. 40 min (mostly asphalted road). Walking time from the village of Namlos via the suspension bridge approx. 1 hour 20 minutes. This walk is also a tip for bad weather!

Welcome to Michl's Fallerscheinstube in the largest mountain village in Tyrol (42 log cabins) - located at 1,302 m above sea level.

Our restaurant is located in the oldest part of the hut, which has been furnished with great care and love. It seats 20-22 people. The veranda (the front part of the cabin) gives you a beautiful view of our alpine surroundings through the large panoramic windows and offers seats for 24 people. We also have a sunny terrace from which you have a wonderful view of the surrounding Lechtal Alps and flora and fauna.
We also have a children's playground (play tower with sandbox and a slide) and a cozy play corner so that our little guests can also enjoy a visit to Michl's Fallerscheiner Stube!
