COVID-19 measures

Bergbahnen Berwang B-Safe!

Dear guests,
The past year have been shaped by major changes. The corona pandemic is affecting our lives worldwide. For us as a mountain railway operator, the safety and personal health of every single person are more central to our thoughts and actions than ever.

We are looking forward to welcome you in Berwang this summer season!
In times of Corona, everyone can do their part to prevent or contain the spread of the virus. As a mountain railway operator, we have drawn up guidelines for ourselves and our guests in accordance with the current state of knowledge and official requirements, in order to enable a carefree day of vacation or excursion in the Berwanger valley.
We kindly ask all guests staying in our holiday region to strictly observe the guidelines and pay attention to them with enough personal responsibility. Please note that the guidelines can change depending on the level of knowledge and official requirements. This page is regularly updated and expanded.
We hope that with this package of measures we can make it possible for you to have nice and relaxing days with us.

Stay healthy!
Your team of Berwang mountain railways

COVID-19 measures

Our guests are required to wear an FFP2 mask (or a mask with at least an equivalent standardized standard) when using the toilet facilities and when using closed chairlifts and gondolas. All passengers of the Sonnalmbahn Berwang, as well as children under 7 in general, are exempt from the mask requirement. Instead of an FFP2 mask, children from 7 to 14 years of age may also wear a close-fitting mouth and nose mask that covers the mouth and nose area.
Please observe the general rules of hygiene and wash your hands regularly. Please use our desinfection dispenders.

Please do not leave your used face mask or tissues in the cable car gondolas, but dispose of them properly.

Cable car cabins, toilet facilities and first aid stations are disinfected daily.

Please follow the recommendations for conduct and also the instructions of our employees, especially with regard to the applicable hygiene regulations.

Contactless payment should be used wherever possible.
Please show personal responsibility and thereby protect your health and the health of others.
If you have symptoms that could indicate a possible Covid-19 infection, please stay in your accommodation and contact the reception of your accommodation or a doctor immediately.
We expressly reserve the right to limit persons.
